I'm Free

Don't grieve for me,
for now I'm free
I'm following the path
God laid for me.
I took His hand when
I heard Him call;
I turned my back on it all

I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love,
to work or play.
Tasks left undone must
stay that way;
I found that place at
the close of day.

If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared,
a laugh, a kiss;
Ah yes, these things,
I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times
of sorrow,
I wish you sunshine
for tomorrow.
My life's been full,
I savored much;
good friends, good times,
A loved ones touch.

Perhaps my time seems
all to brief,
don't lengthen it with
undue grief.
Lift up your heart and
share with me,
God wanted me now,
He set me free.  g

A Bridge Called Love

It takes us back to brighter years,
to happier sunlit days and to precious
moments that will be with us always.

And these fond recollections
are treasured in the heart
to bring us always close to those
from whom we had to part.

There is a bridge of memories
from earth to Heaven above
It keeps our dear ones near us
It's the bridge that we call love.

Our Souls are but reflections of one another.
Like the cold half moon, a lone existence portrays the cold dark sky,
sans stars, sans night clouds. But being together, energies rekindle our spirits,
rising up to a blaze that warms the universe. 
We become like the sun, the source of the energies ; 
we become like the Great Spirit, magnificent and eternal... g
